Trash the Dress Blog

During the time of the wedding - I was able to meet a great photographer - Kali Kraum thru a posting she did through projectwedding. We met for a photo session to do a trash the dress photoshoot in Half Moon Bay. She did such a great job and I sooo wanted to book her as my real photographer even though I already had one. I think that's one of my biggest regret was not to hire her and cancel my contract with my first photographer. No name listed - being respectful.

2008 Wrap Up

It's been sooo busy ever since the our wedding. It's been crazy with lots of stuff to do. We haven't had one single weekend to ourselves to just relax and bum around. I hope this next year will be a little more slower and things will be at least stable for a change. I have to say - we did finish our thank you cards from the wedding. We are in the process of mailing those out. Johnny tried to go to the post office today, but the line was tooo long.

Highlights of 2008:

New Years Cruise, Our wedding, Two Vegas Trips, A couple of wedding, Retreat planning, KidZone Event Planning, a wedding planning gig, and completing Xmas shopping within two days.

Things I hope to Do for 2009:

Go on a mission trip, Hawaii trip, Hope to workout three times a week, try to have a worklife balance. That's all I can think about right now.

It's been a while since a Post

A lot has changed since my last posting in March. Let's see - I changed my martial status from single to married.  During the time of our honeymoon - he got a call from his jerk boss that he got laid off. But things are picking back up now. He found himself a job and is not in the job field he likes. He's an IT consultant at a biotech company.

Even though my planning on my wedding is over. I'm still planning weddings tho. I'm a part-time wedding planner on the side and just enjoy pulling events together. I'm active in my church ministries where I put together occassional event for our kid's ministry and also planning our churchwide retreat for this year in October 2008. 

So life has been busy.. But it's good busy. I love my life and things that are happening.

TTD DONE & NOW Vegas

Today I took off half day to do my Trash the Dress session. I started at 10:30 to get my nails done, then hair. Afterward I head to Valley Fair to get my makeup done. I had to meet the photographer over at Half Moon Bay at 3:30 to start the photo shoot. It was a lot of fun. It was fun working with Kali. She was very cute and just kept on snapping pictures. She told me that she took about 300 frames. But she's only going to be give me 100 or so. I can't wait to see them. =)

Tomorrow I'm heading with the gurls to Vegas for my Bachelorette party. It should be fun. Details until I return.
